Altough we had a reservation and arrived at noon at Gusthouse Juandolio, owner Wilfredo gave it to another, and offered us his neighbours room for 58 usd. He said the room was about to get cleaned in half an hour and it did not get cleaned till 19 30. When we could enter the room it was still dirty, there was no towels, soap, toilet paper, door lock and Wilfredo or nobody around to ask for them.
The next day I asked the owner, he said Wilfredo is always overbooking and asking for his rooms and pays him 24 USD
Then I asked Wilfredo to give back 20 USD back he started shouting, "Never, ever! You slept very well I can see in your eyes, etc." firing us out of the hotel.  Also I asked  a receipt for the money and tax I paid to him, he again shouted
"I give you nothing, get out of my house"
Luckiliy this was the only bad experience we had with DR hotel owners
